Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 22 September 2020.
Loved granddad to all. Johnnie will lie at 27 McLean Street Wairoa, from 1pm today, 24 September 2020 where his funeral service will be held on Friday 25 September 2020, commencing at 11.00 am followed by a private cremation.

Met you in the Wairoa Country Music Club playing the song Streets of Lorado for Nina. I bet you will be playing up high with the whanau. Loads of Aroha to Lisa, Nina, Dean Paul and all the moko. Rest In Love Johnny Watson.

My sincere condolences to whanau and friends. I used to be in the Wairoa Country Music Club in the early 80s. Johnny played guitar.
