Passed away in the loving arms of his mokopuna peacefully at home in Mahia on Wednesday 24th January 2018. Loved husband of Te Maunga Rongo (Horua). Peter will be leaving Pickering Funeral Chapel at 11.00am Thursday 25 January to travel to Tuahuru Marae, Mahia. On Firday morning he will travel to Te Tairawhiti  Marae,  Rangitukia, where his funeral service will be held at 11.00am on Saturday 27th January to be buried beside his loving wife Te Maunga Rongo.

Passed away 17 January 2018 in Wairoa.  Aged 67, sister of Harata Buchanan (dec), Tom Whiri (dec), Connie Pari, Ann Parkinson (dec), Maude Whiri (dec) and Margaret Whiri.
Wife of the late Anthony Karauria.  Darling mother of Lydia, Doris and Sonny, Anthony, Jacadean and Joe, Edward and Joylene.
Loved Grandmother and Great Grandmother to all her mokopuna.  And a loved Nanny MaryAnne to all of Wairoa.
MaryAnne's service will be held at Kihitu, Te Rauhina marae, Wairoa.
 on Saturday 20 January, 11am, followed by burial at the Wairoa Cemetery.
