It is with great sadness we advise the sudden passing of our beloved tāonga, Dean.
 
Loving husband and soulmate of Margaret Edwards. 
Treasured dad & papa of Jean & Tauaki, Jahzay, Charlie-Maia, Leavianna-Isa & TK.  Jase & Jamie, Envy, Privilege, Ivy & Porsha, Mel & Dylz, Dechey, Juan, Levi & Shady. Ivy, Brodie & Learah.  Matiu & Noah.  Kyoni & Estee.  Diamond & Lucky.  Treasured papa to all his moko.
Beloved son of Kingi & Jean, nee Gordon (dec).
Brothers In Arms of Jason & Dynella, Billy & Petrina.
Tapuae hard player, supporter and coach all of his amazing life.
Beautiful loving husband, dad, papa, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
 
Dean will lie at 17 Te Uhi Pa Road Wairoa from the 21st April 2024 and on Tuesday at 10am will be going to Taihoa Marae.  A church service at 6pm followed by poroporoaki.  Wednesday at 11am his funeral service will be held then Dean will travel to Aranui Marae for a brief service followed by his burial at Te Okiokinga Mara Tapu O Te Hapu Urupa.
