E kai kini nei te ngakau i te rironga atu a tō tātou koka, kuia, tuāhine, tamāhine, karanga maha me te hoa rangatira a Ricky Tahuri, a Grace Hazel Tahuri (nee Kapene)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by whanau in Palmerston North Hospital, on Thursday 25th January 2024. Loving wife of Ricky (RT), loved mother, nan, sister, daughter and cousin.

Grace and whanau will be leaving Pickerings Friday the 26th January at 10.30am, she will lay at Whetu Mārama Mākoro (Mill Pa) where her nehu will be held on Sunday 28th January at 11am followed by her burial at Putahi Urupa.

Ngā manaakitanga o te runga rawa.

Haere taku kaihana rere atu ki o tipuna ki tawhiti nui takoto atu! Will miss you such a loveley gentle nature when we were kids , playmates in Wairoa i was a shy Ngaphluhi/ Pakeha kid, you welcomed me as part of the whanau. RIP, my condolences and deep aroha to the Whanau a Mackie me Timmy ma? Been a longtime, our paths never crossed since we left Wairoa 1976 i have bern back to kitea a Aunty Wawi may she rest too.
