Passed away peacefully at Glengarry Lifecare, Wairoa on Thursday 28 January 2021, surrounded by his wife and friends. Most beloved husband of Colleen. Loved father and stepfather. Loved papa, koro to all his mokopuna. John will leave Pickering Funeral Services on Saturday morning. In accordance with John’s wishes he will lie at home 6 Jellicoe Ave, Wairoa where his funeral service will be held on Monday 1 February 2021 at 11.00am followed by interment in Potaka Urupa, Raupunga. Thanks for letting me know about the sad passing of a good man my stepfather the most awesome man I ever met my heart is broken by the the lack of my family letting me know that he had passed away you are truly missed by me dad so sorry I couldn't say goodbye to you and tell you how much you mean to me I only have memories of my time with you RIP Johnny my heart is hurt the only man I consider as the most influential man in my life as for my so called family your lack of respect and ignorance is disrespectful to me and I have no idea why you should choose to be so disrespectful
