A cherished Wairoa stalwart has been lost. Min you are a legend and will forever be remembered for the kind gentle soul you were. You reminded me so much of Gig, your father with stern but gentle spirit and yes that cheeky grin that lightened most serious of conversations we had. You will be dearly missed by the people of Wairoa❤️I hope they have sweet cakes and biscuits up there for you mate ❤️

Dear Kerry and family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Min was a valued member of our community and was liked by so many, his smile and laugh was infectious and because of this he brought smiles and laughter to so many people. It’s with sadness we have heard of Min’s passing. Graeme remembers there was always a coffee and pie waiting for him when he called on his way home from Gisborne. Our thoughts are with you all at this time 💐❤️

Im lost for words and in shock with only just finding out about Min. I completed my painting apprenticeship with Johansens Bros in the early 70's with Moose (Gig) as our boss. Min came along halfway through my term as an apprentice himself. Many many happy times . RIP Min Wairoa man through and through.
