Passed away peacefully at Gisborne Hospital on Monday 17th July 2023 aged 84 years old.

Much loved wife to Pat (dec).  Loving mother of Chris and Paul.  Treasured Nana to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Cherished sister and sister in law to Judy and Ken, Avis and Ross, and Laraine (dec).  Much respected Aunty to her many nieces and nephews.  Special friend to Jo, Wendy, Tracey, Lynda, Michelle and may more.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Glengarry and Te Wiremu Rest Homes for their kindness and care they showed Maida.

Maida will lie at Pickering’s Chapel from Tuesday 18.7.2023 where her funeral service will be held on Thursday 20.7.2023 at 11 am followed by her burial with her darling Pat in the Te Reinga Urupa.  Prior to her leaving for Te Reinga, whanau and friends are invited to share refreshments and memories at the Anglican Church Hall after the service.

Dearest Maida, it is with saddness you have passed away... I loved our sessions during health checks lol 😆 😂 💕 but you were so honest and very caring, and open with what went on in your life and surroundings.
Fly High to greet your Darling with open arms.
Love ❤️ to all your whanau
