Passed away peacefully at Wairoa Hospital surrounded by his loving whanau. Loved father of Darren and Peni, Johnny, Joseph and Sandra, Misty and Nathan, Te Amo and Tomairangi, José, his big baby Henry and loving Papa to all his mokopuna.

John will lie at Taihoa Marae until Tuesday, 9th April 2024 where his service will be held at 11am followed by burial at Hinewhaki Urupa.
