Born 29th January 1957
Died suddenly at home on the 26th March 2020. Loved husband of Carol. Loved father and father in law of Hine and Garry, Matenga, Ipu and Anna, Oralee and Michael and Kara. Cherished Papa of Zion, Michael, Karaitiana, Nikora, Asher, Matenga, Isaac, Jax, Oscar and Pia. Son of Matenga and Mirama (dec). Brother and brother in law of Vera and Gary, Pingao and Paul (dec), Paul and Maria, Hine (dec) and Jake, Hori and Joylene, Ipu (dec) and Kim, Marahea and Trevor, Janet and Robert, June and Alf and Wiremu and Ratnah. Uncle to many. Due to the restriction regarding tangihanga at this time there will be no funeral service. A memorial service to celebrate Matenga’s life will be held at a later date to be notified. Families are Forever
