17th of December 1992 – 14th of May 2018
Aroz Arohaina Gilbert passed away at the Wairoa Hospital on the morning of Monday the 14th of May. Treasured and beloved by her parents, Hurae and Monehu Gilbert (nee Hume). Cherished sister to her three brother’s Te Rangi Gilbert, Tawapiko Gilbert and Enoka Bartlett. Beautiful aunty to pepe Waireti Moana Rawinia Gilbert. Arohaina will be taken to Waikaremoana where she will lay in state at Waimako Marae. The funeral service will be held on Friday the 18th of May at 11am. She will then go on to be laid to rest at Orangitirohia urupa. Kia au to moe e te tamahine, tuahine, mokopuna, iramutu, koka, hoa. Forever love you our Aroz.

He mamaeroa kei te haere mo matau kua mahue iho. Loves to Uncle Hurae, Aunty Mo, Tawa Piko, Enoka and Te Rangi. You'll never be forgotten by your whanau and friends Aroz. Memories are forever, and ones with you will be treasured. Thank you to the Pickering's whanau for looking after Aroz. For taking her over to Rotorua and just ensuring that the whanau was informed as much as they could be in this sad time.
