Son of the late Barney II & Tusie Brown.
Peacefully passed away surrounded by all his family on Saturday 21st October 2017 at his home in Mahia.
Beloved Eternal Companion of Jewel
Loved father and father – in – law of Forrest and Gina, Kelvin and Audra,
Chris (Dec), Mid and Viv
Loving Pop to all his moko’s Stevie-Lee, Oseana, Atareta, Khalos, D’Magio, Dawn, Derek, D’Reydon and loved Poppy to Christopher.
Survived by his brother Andrew Brown.
Dad will lie at his home 532A East Coast Road, Mahia from Saturday Evening . His funeral service will be held on Monday 23rd October 2017,11am at the Nuhaka LDS Chapel.

Arohanui to all the whanau in Nuhaka / Mahia. See you at the tangi tomorrow. Uncle Barney is a wonderful kind man with a gentle christlike manner in word, deed and action. Love Uncle Barney heaps ever since I was a kid attending church at the LDS Nuhaka Chapel. He is simply the best. Aroha to Aunty Jewel.

Gone so long ago even though just 5 years and catching up with my Whānaunga Barney. Miss you my cousin and so sorry Jewel I am catching up so late but do hope you and kids/moko are well. I always loved seeing you and cousin Barney when I could get over to Mahia and be with you even if ever so briefly. Need to continue to do the visiting and memory journeys.
