At 6.15pm on the 9th October 2021, our beautiful Patareareha, loving daughter, mother, nanny, great nanny, great great nanny and loving wife to Staff Sergeant Brown Beattie of the Maori Battalion, passed away peacefully at her home, 70 Kitchener Street, Wairoa aged 93 years old. Our beloved kuia was surrounded by whanau and friends with Waiata, Karakia and Aroha during her final days.
She will lie at 70 Kitchener Street, Wairoa until Tuesday 12 October 2021 when her funeral service will be held at 1pm, followed by her interment at the Wairoa Lawn Cemetery RSA with her beloved husband.

So sorry to hear this sad news, will miss seeing your beautiful face and having a catch up whenever we crossed paths. You were probably my last real connection with our Grandmother Pine Adsett and I so enjoyed talking about all of our whanau when we met up. Sending all of our love and condolences to the whanau.
