With the heaviest hearts, we announce the passing of Rihi McKenzie, who departed this life on December 16th 2025.
  
Rihi was a devoted husband to Jan, a loving father to Bradley and Amber-Jane, and a treasured Pups to Lenny. He was a much-loved and respected man, deeply cherished by his wider family, friends and all whose lives he touched.
  
A service will be held at Pickering Funeral Chapel on Thursday, 18th December, at 10am .
 
Following this service, Rihi will travel to Kahungunu Marae, Nuhaka, where he will lay until Saturday, 20th December.
  
On Friday evening, a poroporoaki will be held for family and friends. This will be a time for shared memories and tributes, with the floor open for those who wish to speak.
  
A funeral service will be held at the marae on Saturday at 10am
  
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects as we gather to honor and celebrate Rihi’s life.

No more suffering dad.  Cherished and loved by Lyn.  Loving dad to Pamela & Amos, Stephen  & Juliana, Deanna & Mike, Cook & Moa, Mana and Kahurangi.  Loved papa to all his mokopuna and mokomoko, respected uncle to all his nephews and nieces, brother and brother-in-law to many.
As per Pete’s wishes, he stayed with his family last night and will travel to Gisborne today, 9/12 for cremation.
No more lawns dad, rest now. 

Time to hang the tools up bro. 
Brother-in-law who will be missed.  We will look after Lyn, Kiki.

Passed away peacefully on Thursday 4 December 2025, aged 86.
Loving husband of Kay, father and father-in-law of Martin and Shona, Paul and Kerry, and Leigh and Stu, brother of Warren (dec) and Michael, and much loved grandad of 9 and great-grandad of 5.
A service will be held to celebrate and remember Howard on Monday, 8 December at St Peter’s Catholic Church, Wairoa at 11am followed by interment at Wairoa Cemetery.

Loved partner of Valiant, loved mother of Heil-Leo. Cherished and loved daughter of Troy, and Jadey girl. Loved sister of Mersaydez, Ida, Esmay, Virgo, Kinarah, and Pereiha. Loved granddaughter, aunty, cousin and friend to many. Neveah will lie at Te Huki Marae in Raupunga on Tuesday 2 December. On Wednesday 3 December at approximately 11am, she will be taken to lie at Ruataniwha Marae, where her funeral service will be held on Friday 5 December 2025 at 11am following the service she will be taken to Gisborne for cremation.

Passed away in his element — the place he spent every day: the bush.
Son of Noel Stewart (Dec) and Ina Hawkins (Dec) who will be waiting at the golden gates with open arms for their son.  Loved and adored Dad of Tamara-rose and Zinny, His best mate Bj, and Cassey. Cherished partner of Missy.  Brother, uncle, cousin, “Killa,” and pal to many.  “Eagle” in the bush. 
Dad will lay at 74 Campbell Street from Saturday 29th November.  All whanau and friends are welcome to come and pay their respects. Monday 1st December will be Dad’s final day where we will take him to Wairoa War Memorial Hall at 11am for his funeral service. He will then be taken to Waihua Urupa to be laid to rest.

It is with sadness that we share the passing of our dear mother.  We hold close the love, care and guidance she poured into our lives.  Her steady presence and nurturing ways shaped our lives in so many ways that will remain with us always.  Mum leaves memories filled with warmth and gratitude.  She is lovingly remembered and will be deeply missed by her children…  Mary and Mark, Paul (dec), Wendy, Samantha (dec), Jacinta, Samuel and Jennifer, her grandchildren, great- grandchildren and her brothers and sisters.
Margery will lie at home, 5 Mansfield Street, until her funeral service at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, 29 November 2025 at 2pm.

84 years young.
The sun rose again today, though a little less bright without you here. We know you will be sitting at that big hootchie in the sky, beer in hand, watching over us. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later. Dearly loved husband and soulmate to Dot. Devoted dad and father in law to Adam, Lisa and Peter Skilton, and Tina. Great poppa to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loyal and respected friend to many. As per Des’s wishes a private cremation has been held.
