It is with sadness that we farewell Robert Morrell. A kind and gentle soul who left an indelible mark on the lives of all who knew him. His love for life only rivalled by his love for his feline friends, who brought him endless joy and comfort. He will be missed by his family, friends and his loyal companions. May he rest in peace. Uncle will have a church service at Pickerings Chapel today, Friday 26 July 2024 at 3.pm for friends and family. A funeral date and time will be advised later. UPDATE A funeral service will be held at Pickerings Chapel on Tuesday 30th July 2024 at 11 am followed by a private cremation. Friends and whanau are invited to share memories and refreshments at Jim and Josie's home 16 Sutton Street Frasertown after the service.

It is with great sadness we advise the sudden passing of “Cowboy” on Tuesday 23rd July 2024.
He is a much loved Husband, Dad, Koro/Papa, Brother, Uncle and great mate to many. Cowboy will lie at 2 Te Kauwaha Street Nuhaka from Thursday 25 July where he will travel to Tane-nui-a-rangi Marae, Nuhaka on Friday at 12pm. His nehu will be held on Saturday 11 am, followed by his burial at the Nuhaka Public Cemetery. Whanau and friends are invited to the hakari at Tane-nui-a-rangi Marae. The family of Jim wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to everyone who gave, in one way or another during our time of sadness and need. Your kindness and giving of time, food, koha, respect and outpouring of love absolutely touched our hearts.

Nehua, tōna karakia whakamutunga, te tangi o tōna pere otinga. Wednesday 24th July at 11am, followed by burial at Wharekaponga Urupā. It is with great sadness we share the news that Mum passed away peacefully in Christchurch. Much loved Mother to Niall and Grand Mother to Rose and Kora. Friend to all that had the pleasure to enjoy her grace. Will be forever missed. Now at home with the Lord. Passed away peacefully in his sleep, July 10, 2024, aged 71 years.
