Passed away suddenly at home. Loving daughter of JB and Audrey. Loved sister of Angelina, much loved aunty and friend to many. Cindy will lie at Pickering Funeral Chapel from Tuesday, 9 June at 11am, until her funeral service on Wednesday, 10 June at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

It is with great sadness that we advise the sudden passing of our beloved Ururangi on Saturday 23.05.2026 at our home. Dearly loved son of Katherine Purcell and John Morrell. Treasured brother, nephew, cousin and “bro” to many. Our boy will return home, 252 Te Rato Road, Wairoa, late afternoon on Wednesday 27 May, where he will lie in state for one night. On Thursday, 28 May, at 11am our taonga will be taken to Taihoa Marae, 174 SH2, Wairoa where his poroporoake service will start at 6pm. His rangi nehunga will be held on Friday at 11am followed by his burial in Te Kopua Urupa by his Papa. 18/01/38 - 19/05/26

E tangi aroha ana te ngākau Mo taku kuia Rangatira It is with the greatest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mum, Matariki Taurima (nee Campbell). On Friday 24th April 2026, mum passed peacefully and was surrounded by her children and her siblings. He uri ia nō Ngāti Rongomaiwahine. Daughter of Thomas Eraihia and Molly Campbell (nee Poipoi). She had a big whānau who loved her dearly. And as we reflect on her life, we know she felt privileged to not only be known as a mum and nan, but also a great-grandmother and a great-great-grandmother. This included being a beloved mother of Lesley and Nolan(Choc) Burnett, Una and Alistair, Fiona and Harry Boxall, Julian Taurima and Sophie Hura, Vernon Taurima, and Audra and Kelvin Brown. Sister to Gladys (dec), Huiarangi (dec), Julia (Poto)(dec), Isaac(boy)(dec), TeHere (Peanut,Billy)(dec), Violet (dec), George (Dordie)(dec), Tommy (dec), Ester (dec), Sonia, Airini, Kenross, Tai, Mahara (dec), Doreen, and Kaydawn (Min). And much loved nana to Tony Campbell, Airini-Zoy and Nolan Burnett; Isaac and Maehe Austin; Brianna, Edward and Liam Boxall; Peta, Te Paea, Kiwa-Lee, Campbell and Te Rangitere Taurima; and Shawn Dickson and Stevie-Ray Jury. She was the quiet strength of our whānau and although her place can never be filled, we know that she lives on in her children and mokopuna. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 28 April 2026 at Tuahuru marae, Mahia at 11am followed by interment Ruawharawhara urupa, Opoutama. Passed Peacefully, surrounded by family on April 17th. Dearly loved wife of Glenn Mckinnon (Dec). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of: Lorn Mckinnon & Lisa Wise; Kirsty & Ken Shaw; Greig and Charlie Mckinnon.
