Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday 8 October 2017. Loved husband of Valmai. Father to Kathy, Josy, Lou, Ange, Mark, Brett, Bruce, Rose and Marie. Grandfather to many, loved by all. Funeral service for John will be held at 39 Mitchell Road, Wairoa on Thursday 12 October at 2pm, followed by a private cremation.

Valmai and family, sincere condolences for your loss, it has been my pleasure to be associated with your family through John over the last few months, whilst the loss is hard to accept right now it’s nice to know there is no more suffering for John, I admire the boys who were looking after their grandfather and thank them for their help when I last attended John.
