Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving whanau, finally in the loving arms of his hun.

Best dad of Eugene and Cheryl, Daph and Loncey, Trinity and Jelaire. Loved and adored koro of Ashley #1, Lucas, Victoria, Koen, Emjae, Aaylah, Tyson and Honour. Treasured brother, uncle and friend to many.

We will have a karakia at Pickering Funeral Chapel at 2:30pm today before taking him to 1 Lockwood Point. As per dad’s wishes, a graveside service will be held on Monday, 16 December 2024 at 11am.

Rip matiu remember when yous stayed around the corner from us on apatu street use to have a whack around down at the wairoa tennis club an you made me work for every point most of the time I would walk away defeated but some say you learn more in a defeat than you do in a win so thanks matiu arohanui too your family
