Precious son of the late Piripi Te Aru Rewi & Mere Kingi Rewi (Hiko).
Cherished husband of Nancy. Devoted Daddio of Louise (Gus), Shontel (G), Himiona (Chunk), Benjamin (Black), Te Aru (Bro), Awhina (Miss) & Kurei (Gurt). Loving and cherished Papa to Piripi (My Boy), Miia (Barbs), JJ (My Black Nigga), Mighty Rex, Bells, Te Aio (My Dolls) and the new moko boy.
Son, Brother, husband, father, papa, friend to all and our everything.
Moe mai ra e te rangatira.

We will be taking Dad to our home at Iwitea on Tuesday 10th September, we ask for only the immediate whanau to be with him at this time.

Below are the times people can come to view him at home:
Wednesday 12pm to 2pm
Thursday 12pm to 2pm
Friday 12pm to 2pm

A brief funeral service will be held at Iwitea Marae on Saturday 14th September 2024 at11am before he travels to Gisborne for a private cremation.

Rest easy Phil...thanx for lending MyHunee Alf your HQ ute when I use to come back to Wairoa In Our courting days 30odd years ago. Soon as we went over a bump the windows would drop down...I truly appreciate who you were to My Hunee as a young keen hunter you were always one of his mentors Iv heard many a hunting story over the years with you in it.
