Raewyn passed away on Friday 3 January 2025 surrounded by her family following a long battle with mesothelioma. Loved wife of Peter and much-loved Mum of Leon and Christine. Respected Mum-in-law of Sonya and Imre. Loved Nana of Bradley, Nathan and Kyla, Arna, Breanna and Maia, and Great-Nana of Azarius. At Raewyn’s request a private family service was held on Tuesday 7 January. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Mesothelioma Support and Asbestos Awareness Trust (MSAA Trust) made directly to www.msaatrust.org.nz Messages to the Poyzer Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

Dear Peter and family it was a shock to see Raewyn has passed away . Raewyn and Peter were amazing neighbours when they lived next to me in Gisborne and we continued to have Facebook catch-ups regularly and fill each other in on our children's and grandchildren's lives and adventures . It is with a heavy heart I send hugs and love to you Peter and family.
