Eldest mokopuna of Petera Te Hiwirori Maynard and Reremoana Te Orihau Maynard (nee Watson), and mokopuna of Te Rangiuia (Sugar) Houkamau and Te Amohaere Houkamau (nee Mc Clutchie. Loving mum to James William. Nanny Mo to Tristan James Smith-Houkamau, Ahumairangi Huria Harris-Houkamau, Kahutia Te Ua Harris-Houkamau, Kaleb and Renee Rose (Missy Moo). Eldest sister to Te Reo Anita Gerrard, Huna Bill, Donald (The Rock)(Dec), Cheryl Tanya, Gene Irene Farr (Dec), Kerrie and Tracy. Mo passed peacefully at her home in Wairoa surrounded by her loving whanau 6:15am 17 July. She will return to her home, 11 Kowhai Place, Wairoa on Friday 18th July at 10.30am. There will be a service at 7pm, followed by the Poroporoaki. She will then leave her home on Saturday 19th July at 10.30am and make her way to the War Memorial Hall, 103 Queen Street, Wairoa, for an 11am service. At 1.00pm she will travel to Evan’s Funeral Service, Gisborne, for a short service before cremation. Nau mai, haere mai. Piki mai, kaki mai.
