Passed away peacefully after a long battle with her illness on Tuesday 8 August 2017 at Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Hastings surrounded by her loving family. Loved wife of Mike. Loved mother of Mahara, Mark and Diny, and Stephen and Colleen. Loved Nan of her mokopuna and great mokopuna. Loved Daughter of Rangi (dec) and Piwa Pitau (dec). Loved Sister of Ann (dec), George, Jocelyn, Florence (dec), Mac (dec), Mahia (dec), Nickey, Johnnie, Gloria, Kevin, and Richard. June will lie at her home 2 Queen Street, Wairoa where her funeral service will be held on Friday 11 August at 1pm. All that suffering has come to and end. RIP ole friend. Still have beautiful memories of our time spent in Otoko. Our kids doing their thing and demolishing your home baking while our men doing what they did well with their country and western music playing in the background. Arohanui Burns Whanau.
