It is with great sadness that we advise the peaceful passing of our beloved Kyro on Wednesday the 11th February 2026, at the age of 76 years old.
Eldest child of Sam (dec) and Ropine Tahuri (dec). Eldest mokopuna of Mei (dec) and Makoro Tipuna (dec). Loving partner to Arthur (dec). Cherished mum to Mano and Zenith. She will be missed by her brothers, sisters and all her whanau and friends. Kyro will lie at Whetu Marama Makoro marae where her funeral will be held on Friday, 13 February 2026 at 11am, followed by her burial at Pakowhai Urupa.

Hira was my supervisor back in the at bendon berlie he was a cool person we all hung out at work an after work never forgot him was only about 16 years old but always got look after have lots of fond memories 😉 rest in peace Margaret winiata

Rest in peace auntie kyro arohamai to the family sorry we can't make it due too health conditions one fond memory I have of you is when we won the men's doubles for tennis an receivesd the reinga kapene sheid tonament was held at wairoa college you were very competitive and pushed me too perform at a high level I thankyou for that arohanui me an djon
