It is with sadness in our hearts that we inform our whānau and friends of the passing of Te Aroha Valentine Beattie (nee Christie).
Daughter of Phillip Kaimoana Christie (Pappy) and Katerina Hoetawa Wirihana (Kaa).
Sister of Buster White, Moia Winiata, James, Julian and Marie Christie.
Beautiful māmā of Phil and Maude.
And dearly loved kui to her moko and mokomoko.
Valda will lie at 68 McLean Street until Saturday 1:00pm. She will then be taken to Takitimu Marae Waihirere Rd. Her nehu will be Sunday at 11am before travelling to Gisborne for cremation.
