70 years young, Johnny passed peacefully in the excellent care of the team at Gracelands Hastings early Wednesday morning 31 December 2025.
Cherished son of the late Hineringa Lena Robinson. Youngest brother of Crete Thomas (Tom) Robinson and the late Richard Leslie (Birdie) Robinson. Loved cousin/brother of Minnie Clark. Friday 2 January 2026 at 10am Johnny’s funeral service will be held in the Pickering Chapel, 62 Marine Parade Wairoa. From there Johnny will travel to Iwitea to be laid to rest next to his mother at Iwitea Urupa. Hakari will be held at Johnny’s home in Wairoa following his burial . No Ngati Matawhaiti. He Morehu. Ko Takutaimoana te rohe. Ko te Mangai hei tautoko mai aianei, akenei, ae.

With deep sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Hanham on 29 December 2025, aged 65.
Hanham was a deeply loved partner, father, and whānau man who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his partner Te Paea, and his children Cherish, Zahlee, HineAio, Hinetaitapu, Wade, Cj, and Tane. Hanham will arrive at Mohaka Marae at 1.00 pm on Wednesday, 31 December 2025 where he will lie in state for two nights. The funeral service will be held at 11.00am on Friday 2nd January 2026. Following the service Hanham will travel to Gisborne for cremation. Those accompanying him will leave immediately. With the heaviest hearts, we announce the passing of Rihi McKenzie, who departed this life on December 16th 2025. Rihi was a devoted husband to Jan, a loving father to Bradley and Amber-Jane, and a treasured Pups to Lenny. He was a much-loved and respected man, deeply cherished by his wider family, friends and all whose lives he touched. A service will be held at Pickering Funeral Chapel on Thursday, 18th December, at 10am . Following this service, Rihi will travel to Kahungunu Marae, Nuhaka, where he will lay until Saturday, 20th December. On Friday evening, a poroporoaki will be held for family and friends. This will be a time for shared memories and tributes, with the floor open for those who wish to speak. A funeral service will be held at the marae on Saturday at 10am Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects as we gather to honor and celebrate Rihi’s life. 25 February 1958 to 8 December 2025
