Passed away, aged 77 after a short illness with family at his side. Loved and loving husband of Marion. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Anthony (dec), Douglas and Keziah, Jacob and Becky. Cherished Grandpa Ha Ha of Eve, Benny, Ella, and Georgia. Treasured brother, brother-in-law, much loved uncle, and friend to many. A service to celebrate Doug’s life will be held in the Alight Church, Napier Road, on Wednesday 28th August at 1pm. Followed by private cremation. Absolute Legend Gone but never forgotten

Jacko will lie at his home for the night and will travel to Tuahuru Marae, Wednesday morning, where his tangi will be held on Friday 23rd August 2024 at 1pm. It is with great sadness we advise that our Rangatira passed away suddenly with his loving whanau by his side. Treasured and much loved Dad, Papa, Great Papa, Brother and “bro” to many. Dad will lie at his home Monday 19th August 2024 for the night. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mrs Moya Lewis Winiata (née White), aged 91, who peacefully departed on 14 August 2024 surrounded by her family. Her legacy of love, resilience, and wisdom will forever remain in our hearts. Moya was a woman of quiet strength and determination, living a life marked by grace and perseverance. She deeply valued her family and took great pride in nurturing her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, instilling in them a legacy of love and kindness. Her gentle wisdom and intuitive understanding provided comfort and guidance to many. Her unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Mother will be taken to Waimako Marae, Lake Road, Tuai, Waikaremoana, for a two-day tangi ceremony. Her final service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, 16 August 2024, before she is laid to rest at Whare Kaponga Cemetery. Ali cat reached her 10th life and died peacefully with whanau around her. Much loved wife of Geoff for 50 years. Adored mum to Valerie and Gavin. Treasured aunty and nanny to many. Cherished friend, confidant and advocate to countless people. In accordance with Ali’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A celebration of Ali’s life will be held at the Gaiety Theatre, Wairoa on Saturday 17 August 2024 at 2pm. Passed away on Sunday, 11 August 2024, in Wairoa Hospital after a long battle with chronic pain and cancer. Loving husband to Olivia (Olly), beloved father to Jason, Lucas and Te Ataarangi, whangai dad to Reimana, Ratama and Rua, loved Koro and father-in-Law. Loved son of Charlie (dec) and Agnes (Senga) (dec). Brother, uncle and bro to many. A service for Maihi will be held at 10am Monday, 12 August at Pickering Funeral Chapel, where he will then be taken to Taihoa Marae for one night. Maihi will then be taken to Te Rauhina Marae at 11am on Tuesday 13 August, where he will remain until his burial at Okaka (Kihitu) Urupa on Wednesday, 14 August 2024 at 11am. 18 April 1956 – 7 August 2024

Passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024 aged 91 years. Now resting in peace after a life fully lived. Much-loved wife of the late Ivan Northcott, and mother of Robert. Audrey will be missed by all her family and many close friends.
