Leslie Caron Parker passed away quietly at home, surrounded by her beloved whānau. Wife of Noel Parker and loving mother to Joseph, she was devoted and loyal.
Daughter of Raniera (Dan) and Lorna Winiata, and sister to Anita 'Weone' and Jamie Rarere, Margaret 'Babe' and Dave Sowter, Danny Winiata (deceased) and Jesse and Ron Robinson. A cherished aunty and friend to many.
Friends and family gathered at her home to honor a life defined by kindness and love. Leslie’s legacy reminds us to walk beside one another — never below, never above, always beside.
Her memory will live on in our hearts.

Mum will make her way to Taihoa Marae on Saturday 21 June 2025 at 12pm where her nehu will be held at 11am on Tuesday 24 June 2025 followed by her burial at Orehu Urupa, Te Uhi Pa Road Wairoa.

Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday 10th June 2025 aged 89 years old BUT to him he was 90!!

Dad will lie at Pickering’s Chapel on Friday 13th June from 10 am.   A graveside service will be held on Saturday 14th June at 11am, weather permitting, otherwise the funeral service will be held at Pickering’s Chapel.

We are very saddened to let everyone know of the passing of our dear Pāpā, Koro, Brother and cheeky as Uncle Dana.  He passed peacefully last night with his family around him. He will return to the Waimako today until the nehu on Saturday at 11am, ma te hāhi ringatu. We will miss your cheeky humour and smile.
