Passed away 3 February 2024 in Australia. Beloved son of Sonny Tamati (dec) and Nora Tamati (dec), father of Clinton and Tom. Don’s ashes were returned and buried at Iwitea on 11 January 2025.

Pua Malta Taumata passed away peacefully at his place - 196 Kaiwaitau Road in Mahia on Monday 20th January 2025 surrounded by his loving whanau. Father of Darren and Cheryl, Ngaire and Ian, Viviane and Simon, Rachel and William, Desmond, Tia and Kaysie, Howard and Ada, Rose and Jeremy, Phyllis and Craig (dec) and Liz. Papa Pua was very proud of all his mokopuna and mokomoko. Pua will be welcomed to Te Rakato Marae on Tuesday, where he will lie in state until his tangi on Thursday, 23rd January at 11am. Rising of the sun 7 September 2010 to going down of the sun 12 January 2025.
It is with deepest sadness that we wish to share the passing of the son of Santana and Te Rito, T.Dog(dec), and Alan and Rangi. Cherished brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and moko to many. Kaos Kotuhi Brown - also known as KO or Lil Kaos, who will be deeply missed. His absence leaves a great loss in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memory will forever be cherished by family and friends. Kaos's spirit will live on in the stories and moments shared about him. Kaos will lay at 134 Lucknow Street, Wairoa, on Thursday 16th January, so that his whanau and friends can come and celebrate and say farewell. On Friday 17th January, Kaos will travel to Taihoa Marae where his funeral service will be held on the Saturday at 11am followed by a private cremation. Raewyn passed away on Friday 3 January 2025 surrounded by her family following a long battle with mesothelioma. Loved wife of Peter and much-loved Mum of Leon and Christine. Respected Mum-in-law of Sonya and Imre. Loved Nana of Bradley, Nathan and Kyla, Arna, Breanna and Maia, and Great-Nana of Azarius.
At Raewyn’s request a private family service was held on Tuesday 7 January. It is with great sadness that we advise our Mum passed away peacefully on Wednesday 1st of January 2025 surrounded by her loving whanau.
Treasured Mum of Dajh, Faithjoui, Beaudean, Toby, Jerri-lee, Tarati and Harmony-Haze Cherished Nanny and Nan Nan to all her moko and great moko. Loving Sister, Cousin, Aunty and friend to many.
